Bend your knees.
Place your weight on the balls of your feet in your skates.
Tilt your chin so that you can see what's in front of you and the puck on your stick.
As you bring the puck across your front, shift your weight onto your right skate.
At the same time, curl your top-hand wrist and finish with the top of your hand facing down
so that your stick blade is cradling the puck.

As you bring the puck back across your front, keep your chin tilted so that you can see
what's in front of you and the puck on your stick.
Shift your weight from your right foot back to the middle of your stance.

Keep your chin tilted.
As you bring the puck to the left side, shift your weight onto your left skate.
At the same time, curl your top-hand wrist and finish with the top of your hand facing up
